MSI has a number of programs specifically designed for our communities’ youth.

Youth Organizations:

Participating organizations include 4-H, Sea Cadets, Junior ROTC, Scouts, and Religious Groups. MSI also sponsors an open safety and shooting activity for youth 7-17 years.

Those affiliated with youth programs with an interest in offering their group an activity related to the shooting sports are encouraged to contact the club and set up a date and time. Nearly all youth activities are at no cost, and may use MSI club equipment.

Friday Night Kid’s Shoot:

One of our most popular programs is an open to all (no cost) safety and shooting activity for youth from 7-17 years old. The events are held the first Friday of every month beginning at 6:00 PM and run untill about 8:00 PM. Each youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The program teaches gun safety and shooting technique. Each youth will have the opportunity to safely shoot a .22 rifle at the club indoor range.
