MSI has a number of programs specifically designed for our communities’ youth.

Youth Organizations:

Participating organizations include 4-H, Sea Cadets, Junior ROTC, Scouts, and Religious Groups. MSI also sponsors an open safety and shooting activity for youth under 18 years.

Those affiliated with youth programs with an interest in offering their group an activity related to the shooting sports are encouraged to contact the club and set up a date and time. Nearly all youth activities are at no cost, and may use MSI club equipment.

Friday Night Kid’s Shoot:

One of our most popular programs is an open to all (no cost) safety and shooting activity for youth from 8-17 years old. The events are held the first Friday of every month beginning at 6:00 PM and run untill about 8:00 PM. Each youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The program teaches gun safety and shooting technique. Each youth will have the opportunity to safely shoot a .22 rifle at the club indoor range.

Please contact the club at (209) 823-7919 if interested in youth programs. Advanced sign up is encouraged, but not required. Call the club house for advanced sign up. A waiver of liability form will need to be completed by the parent or guardian prior to shooting.
